    We used Alan Boyd Painting & Decorating in 2009 and it is the worst paint job that I have ever seen. It is absolutely how many places have been missed. It appears he never used the paint we asked him to because it washes off and is patchy. Around power points has been missed and the kitchen ceiling is peeling and has been for about 4 years. When we can afford it we have to have the whole lot done again.

  • Review of "A.k. Auto Electrics" at Gladstone

    Warning about this company AK Auto electrics! I dropped my vehicle to them last week to get just the aircon repaired. They then rang me during the day to let me know they had fixed it by replacing a hose and regassing. They then said "we have also replaced a power steering and aircon belt" to which i never asked to have replaced.. so then stung me with additional charges to which i dissagreed to. They then took the labour cost off the belts which i was very happy with. So i picked up my truck that day, with the aircon being ok..not very cold. I since then didnt drive my truck until a week later and now theres no aircon at all. So dropped my truck off today and they told me my commpressor is leaking and its another charge + another gas fee to which i asked "why wasnt the leak picked up when you regassed it" ect.. i asked could you fix the pump but not charge for the regas as it should have been picked up when my truck was first in there. The reply was.. "Did you not fu**ing listen to me, i told you it has leaked after our testing" so i just asked to have my vehicle left outside to pick up later. They then left my car outside..after hours.. with no one around.. unlocked.. with the keys in the ignition and no handbrake on! Poor service and my truck could have been stolen or if someone hit it it could have rolled into someone or another vehicle. Its not that hard to have a proper service and take care of peoples pride and joy.
